About Glenn...

I’ve been into art my whole life. After taking art in high school, I went to an illustration school in NYC, for almost 2 years. After which I changed my direction and moved back to Buffalo to attend college. I went to NCCC for fine art, then finished up at Buffalo State with a degree in art education.

Instead of going into teaching, I pursued different self-run art businesses, both full and part time. Yet to have consistent income to support my family; I had to work different restaurant and banquet managing positions. But through it all, I maintained my art.

As far as an art medium goes, I like mixed media: where I combine my two favorite mediums of drawing and painting. I also enjoy doing digital photography, especially how you can play around with color and texture.

For my subject matter, my main resources comes from my love of Scripture and nature, where I make frequent retreats to the many wonderful spots in WNY. While I am there, I can sense the presence of the Eternal Creator, where what I like to call, visual parables present themselves. I find endless inspiration in making abstractions from plant forms; the integration of light, color and texture, work for me as a metaphor to express my Spiritual journey.
