About Mark...


Not a real photographer, but a self-described “just a guy with a camera”, Mark Donnelly is on a mission to capture imaginations and change the perceptions of our great city.


Mark Donnelly, Ph.D. is a graduate of the University of Buffalo. Throughout his career he has touched the full spectrum of the Marketing Communications field as a graphic artist, writer, creative director, educator, newspaper publisher, and now as a web designer and developer.


Mark is the founder of Buffalo Niagara Arts and Culture, a social entrepreneurial venture, bi-nationally connecting this areas vast cultural assets, and webmaster of its website culturalniagara.com.


Mark has recently published a book “The Fine Art of Capturing Buffalo”, a pictorial essay beautifully showcasing the City of Buffalo, published by Buffalo Heritage Unlimited Press. His next book “Fourth Season: The Beautiful Truth About Buffalo Winter” is projected for release this Fall.


In the past Mark has exhibited his photography in several regional galleries, including the Burchfield-Penney, Rodman Hall Arts Centre/Brock University, Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester, and recently held a one-man show “ …And Sometimes I Bring My Camera to the Park” at the Olmsted Marcy Casino in conjunction with his book launch.
