HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!! Tonight Tangential Readings @ 464 celebrated our ONE YEAR anniversay! And what a great year it has been! Thanks to everyone who showed up to celebrate it with us! And thank you to Josh Smith who was thoughtful enough to call when he realized he was too ill to make it.........to wish us well! Now that's class! Thank you Josh. We hope that this blog post finds you feeling yourself again! This Tangential meeting was also Lynn Ciecielski's birthday........and the day before it was Josh's!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU TWO!
We had a special meeting for this night..........an invitation to four of our "regulars" to do special ten minute mini special readings. They were, in order of appearance, Lynn Ciecielski, Sinead Tyrone, and Bruce McCausland. Michael Fischer was also part of the cast but did not put in an appearance. We know that if Mike didn't make it, there was a good reason and we hope all is well with him.
We saw the return of some new folks and the welcome addition of one new reader, Peter Burger! Peter writes prose and treated us to a wonderful reading from the novel he is working on!
It was a great night! Our open mic readers, in order of appearance, were: Peter Burger, Blue Wojochewski, Marek Parker, Jennifer Willet, Andrea Zysk and George Georgakis.
